So it's one of those "high rev" hydrolic roller cams from AFM, right? Anything exotic in the drivetrain (titanium keepers, beehive springs, etc)?

Man, I'd be afraid of that thing coming apart with that amount of power and rpm...

it is Richard. But pulley's are based off stock motors. Even though I run a 20 psi pulley combination, actual boost is a hair over 14 psi. Boost loss is due to the 3 core intercooler plus free flowing heads

Coupe,
You don't have to have a high rpm motor to exprience valvetrain flex. Especially when dealing with 3/8" studs. Edgar and I discussed my rocker arm problems numerous times and came to the conclusion that I was expriencing flex after the blower install.

The times my car have seen 7k rpm was accidental (only once or twice) Most of the time I shift around 6000 rpm

Gotcha. Guess I was thinking you were seeing 20 psi. How big is your exhaust? I would look at going with 3", and a 1 7/8" header. You'll see even less boost then...

Gotta know what the reasoning is on less boost with the bigger exhaust? The exhaust event is pretty much independent on the intake/pressurized event. Just trying to broaden my thinking from my narrow-minded view.

I would say a camshaft or displacement change would affect it, but not the exhaust pipes... Enlighten...

Actually, according to KB, the lightning guys are seeing MORE boost with exhaust improvements such as long tubes

Likely because you get less scavenging with a bigger exhaust and therefore, less "help" on the induction side... which leads to more boost.

I saw about a 1/2 psi increase when I put my ProChamber on.
