PART 2 - Gen 2 Lightning buildup

New Parts!!!



--Fox Lake Stage 2 CNC Ported heads
With Ferrea Stainless 1mm oversize valves

--Comp Cams Stage 2 Turbo Cams (VT Engines Custom Grind)

--Comp Cams valve springs, cam gears, spacers, bolts, etc.

Cleaned all the nasty coating off the frame rails --- this stuff is REALLY NASTY----I hated working around the motor with this stuff, its like tar and gets on everything.

Now its gone, well at least its gone all the way to the trans crossmember.



First pic is the “before” pic



Second pic is after I cleaned off the coating, it left the frame a silver color.



And the last pics are after I painted the frame with a satin black paint

Simple Green cleaner, putty knife, wire brushes, scotchbrite pads........tons of scrubbing and LOTS of CUSSING

They make this stuff called acetone....gets a lot of stuff off of a lot of places...
