polishing

i want to polish my TB since it appears i will have plenty of time before i get to put it on the car. what method works the best. assuming it is polishable.

last time i polished something i used in steps

100 grit
300 grit
1000 grit

then the tripoli, red rouge, and mothers metal polish, however it takes time and patience. if you were to use one of those powerball polishers with the polish etc. i bet it would come out pretty well
