Valve Spring Q's
A friend of mine had a set of 351W heads built while he was in California. the problem is, he lost the info on the springs.
They are double springs, with the inner spring having a blue stripe, and the outer with orange on one side and yellow on the other. the size is 1-13/16 diameter, and 2-7/8" high. Any help is greatly appriciated. Keith |

Re: Valve Spring Q's
All I can recommend is taking them to a machine shop and letting them check for bind.
This is really the only way to know how much cam you can run with that spring. Anything else is likely a guess. Maybe a manufacturer painted the springs, or maybe the last shop to work on the springs painted them? jason
