Lincoln Transmission

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if a 1988 - 1989 Lincoln Mark VII /VIII 5.0 is the same AOD that is in or will fit into a 1991 Mustang 5.0???

I can't say for the MarkVII since they were 5.0Ls but the VIII was a 4.6. It might work but you would have to swap bellhousings.

It will fit the only difference should be the linkage set-up. It mounts up high. You will have to remove your stock linkage and install in this tranny.
