You just talked me outa building a 331 lol. My car is a heavy full interior '89 Gt with a DSS longrod 308 and AFR 185 heads .228 .550 cam 9.5:1 motor with a C4 and ATI converter 410 gears. I have ran a 6.79 1.54 on a 150 shot with an AFR of 9.5 rich.

Not flamming ya or anything, just surprised.

well,lately alot of guys have posted pics,where DSS has screwed up with putting non stroker windage tray/stud girdles in stroker engines,etc,but just my .02!

You have a bad a** 308. I hope this is a true 1/8 mile pass, Some tracks are short.

1quik85gt I think you jack your car up so the front tires are 3 foot in the air then climb in a pratice shifting, that has to feel so unnatural. I love watching you run whether its the stang or the fairlane.

I agree edgar on the motor i can run 11.50to11.65 all day but a 1/10 can cost you the win somtimes,when your up against someone with transbrake,delay box etc.I just want to be consistant as much as possible.

In a true 1/8 mile track, matter of fact two of them, breakaway and Cottonwood in Dothan, both are true 1/8 mile tracks.
