where was the crack on the bell housing? Pretty sure that aluminum does not like to be welded. If it is in the general area of the starter, you may want to round another one up. I am sure somebody on here has one they could spare cheap

Are both bellhousing dowel pins in place? There has to be something going on with the bellhousing if it still grinds after 3 starters and all teeth appear to be in good shape.

You could try shimming one of the starter bolts but I have never owned a Ford that required shimming. Definitely odd

yea it is odd, but the shims i got is for the WHOLE start like it bring the whole start out just a bit but if this dont work ill get a new bellhouseing

BTW: On one of the other starters i put on this car it started up PERFECT i mean it had no grinding at all NONE! it started up like the car was brand new.... then 2 weeks later it started do this crap again.. any idea what might have caused that..?

at first i thought the other starter i had just wouldnt turn it over cuz of the compression but i guess i was wrong

Get a regular Mustang flywheel! The H.O. blocks also had E7TE cast into them. If you go with a flywheel from a F-150 with a manual tranny, you're going to have bigger problems, as they are 11" flywheels instead of 10.5". As I stated in the other thread, make sure you have a manual starter, and not an automatic one. There IS a difference!

Understood, but the H.O.'s also had E7TE heads, which were off the shelf truck heads. The particular casting # denotes what the part was originally intended for, but not the only vehicle it was used in. Ford is known for doing that. Just trying to save you a headache.
