Gt-40 Or Gt-40 P's

What Heads Are On A 1997 Explorer Gt-40 Or Gt-40p's. Would Like To Know Please. Thanks.

Ok, What Header Other Than Flow Tech? Don't Really Want To Beat Up The Header. Lol.

I know Mac unequal lenght shorties will fit ok too and mac longtubes

how can ya tell the gt40 apart from the gt40p? the angle of the spark plug?

angle of plug and on the corner of the heads near the lower head bolt hole there will be a gtp in a stagger.

if it says gtp its a gt40 if it says gt well you know

so how much of a bitch is it to get the stock explorer headers off there? the intake manifold is already gone so that part of the job is done for me already! I am seriously thinking about getting these.

That,and besides what Qkjuiced said,the regular 40's have 3 bars on the end of the heads,the P's have 4.

i have a set of gt-40s off of a lightning truck if anyone is interested. I also have a brand new set of FMS shorty headers with jet hot coating on them
