Mustang tranny help

Hey all, I have a 2001 V6 5 spd mustang and The shifter goes into gears 1-4 seemlessly, but when i gointo 5th gear it want to grind a little sometimes, does it have a self-adjusting hydrolic clutch? Need advice

no. pre-05 mustangs do not have a hydraulic clutch. They do have a self adjusting cable clutch.
More than likely your synchro is going out in 5th gear

it has 123,miles on it. the wearout that fast??? if so, What can i do about it?

depends on how hard it was driven i guess ........someone on streetstangs could do the repair I had Italian LX fix my trans and I was amazed by how well it worked or take it to a trans shop
