u-joints

Has anyone ever used a bastard u-joint? I have a automatic driveshaft(i think) in my car and it will not work with my TKO 600 yoke because its smaller. I have an extra 5-speed driveshaft(looks like it will work) but its missing the part that bolts on the rearend. I bought a driveshaft from a buddy's wrecked 5-speed and his driveshaft wouldn't work either. Someone said i could get a bastard u-joint to make it work?

You need a 31 spline output yoke for that 600, then you'll be able to run your stock driveshaft.
