Any EECIV stangs not come with a VSS?

On another forum, someone is claiming that if a stang didn't come with cruise control, they didn't have a VSS (specifically on speed density cars) going to the EEC. I say BS, but I thought I'd ask and see. Figure if anyone knows, Dale will.

well I used to say that my 88GT that I used to own didn't have it but I was told that I was wrong. I didn't own the car when the topic was brought up so I could not prove or dis-prove either way

SD Mustangs did not have a VSS connected to the EEC.
So if the car did not have cruise, no VSS was installed.

That diagram is a general overview for all those cars.
I left out emissions, shift lights, A/C, and data center circuits (all not needed to start the car)
