Can I do my own tranny swap in my driveway? Rear please!

Hey guys.. so yeah.. Jokers old car came with an SROD tranny that I kinda.. well sorta... yeah.. did blow up. I knew it was coming lol...

I bought a good condition T-5 with bellhousing and shifter and im going to buy a stock clutch from oreily's next week. Since the T-5 comes with the bellhousing and shifter can I do this tranny swap myself? Is there anything weird I need to know about thats different from the SROD and T-5 that will cause a problem? Or should it all bolt right back up and be on the road again? I was thinking of putting the car on stands and using a jack in my driveway to remove and install the trannies. Can this be done at a driveway by myself with a buddy? We are both wrench-capable and have common sense.

Can someone give me tips or advice on this or if I can do it myself?

yep it can be done. Check and make sure that the tranny crossmember is compatible. That is the only thing that might be different. Pretty sure that you can use it though

Yes they are the same output. From what I understand c5 and c4 are the same other than the adjusting nuts for the clutch bands. Ones standard and the other is metric.
