Question 96 Cobra Running Rough

Test drove a 96 Cobra today and it had some trouble. It ran rough, did not want to idle, and took me standing on the gas for a while before it would idle on its' own. I am not sure if it is electrical or fuel but it did not seem to be getting enough something.

any ideas?

hmm, I just do not know

it was throwing codes guess they should be pulled, it also needed a battery so it was trying to die

are fuel system problem common? I seem to remember Scott changing out one of his coil packs on his Cobra

I never had any trouble out of my coil packs when I had mine. I know some cars won't run well at all with a weak battery so that maybe the case. Fuel system wasn't a common problem, maybe a stop up fuel filter?

IAC could be full of carbon or going bad, the maf could be bad but not likely, there could be unmetered air getting in somewhere causing that also. Probably nothing major.
