Are the tko 500 trannies worth a crap.if so how good?what is a low mileage (2000) worth thx clyde

Bandit has the hook up on Tremec's,and he can get you a reman for probably less than you'll give for a used one.

Yes they are good transmissions. I do not like them as much as the older style TR-3550 & TKO because of the way they shift etc. out of the box.

I think Brain is running one of the TKO-500's behind his 418.

New they are expensive......

It comes with a shifter. And a bb block bell clutch and flywheel which I know is worth 150. A mustang aftermarket clutch qaudrant and cable. What would used value be with small block bell. A shifter and qaudrant and firewall adjuster be. Cause I will more than likely resale it but I don't have a clue of what its value is. Thanks clyde

I sold one with clutch kit, cross member, shifter, aluminum drive shaft, bellhousing for $1600.00. Everything had 5000 miles on it. It was in a daily driver. I think you can get a complete kit for around 2200 or 2300. I have one more tko 500 complete kit, and i would not take $1500.00 for it. But I have seen them sell for $1000.00! Right now its not what its worth, its what it will bring. So if you want it, i'm sure you can come out, but if you are buying it to flip, I don't know.
