what would be the frist thing you guys would do to a stock 90 5.0 with a aod tranny?

Along with a shift kit,and then the exhaust.And yank the air silencer if it still has it.

air silencer already gone,have 2and half inch with flows but thinking about changing

I would'nt go with anything bigger than 2 1/2 on the exhaust on a N/A setup.

If you're going to pipe it all the way out the back, I would go with Spin-tech's. I've got them on my '86 and they sound great...just a bit loud if you have them dumped.

A set of underdrive pulley's & an alluminum driveshaft would help free up some power too.

Do I need to match my cam to my gears or how do I know what would be a good cam to go with?
