Question about cams???
I have a 97 4.6 going to swap to the pi heads i was wondering what king of cams to put in the new pi heads where there is some lope and more horse power which would be the best but not really that expensive

you have to be very careful with cams in a non-pi short block equipped with pi heads. There is not as much valve clearance as there is in the 99-up motors.
Contact JDM and see what they recommend. They know the modo motors well

if you use stock PI heads and cam you will be ok. plus the compression jumps to 10.5:1 and you'll love the new found power......
just make sure you have the same size bolts on the timing cover. my 97 had 8mm bolts and alot of the PI heads are 10mm
