Header difference

We just bought a 94 mark8 and it has headers and full exhaust. Wouldn't the headers still work on a 96 up 4valve motor? Seems they would but wanted to see if anyone knew for sure.

Send a message via AIM to 96GTS
Unless they had a custom set fabbed ($2K+), its most likely a Cobra header, BBK, mac, etc... There's no off the shelf Mark headers that I know of

You probably know this but the exhaust ports on the 03/04 4 valve motors are bigger and rectangle rather than the pre 03 more oval exhaust ports. Didn't know if you were thinking of using the headers on your car or not but they will cause a restiction, don't know how much it would hurt though.

I already have bbk longtubes on my car, I was wondering if these would fit the 96-98 cobras to pull them off to make some money. You wanna come pull them off for me? Probably getting rusty on your mod motors

I don't know man, I think all that time I spent on my car is burnt in my mind forever I could pull them off but I think it would be easier to pull the damn motor. We can do some trading since I need some body work on the bird

Got to look at them today, they maybe kooks header kits they sell on their site. They are a midlength type header and run with the floorboard of the mark8. couldn't find a part number either
