I know the 99 up cars supposed to be 1.5" wider than the 94-98, I will measure everything when i get all the parts out. Would be nice to just swap rears

Right.

Disc brakes on either rearend 87-98 adds 1.5" width over a drum brake setup. 99-up actually has a 1.5" wider housing.

I have the 88 T-Bird rear brakes. I kept the stock axels but had to order bracket from north corbra's.

Thunderbird (87-88) turbocoupe axles are the exact same as '93 Cobras...4-lug and all. The housings are all the same size though (ie: the axle tubes).

coupe is correct. the housings are the same size but the axles on the T-birds are 3/4 of an inch longer to allow for the ABS brakes. I opted to use the factory axles from my 86 with brackets made by Northern Cobras that recessed the caliber back 3/4 of an inch.
