ECU question...
ok,here's what I have, finally got my 306 built,in the car,MAF conversion done, which leads me to this question,my ECU is an L1C,from a 92 thunderbird with the 5.0 HO,the MAF meter came from the same car as well.Cranked the car up tonight, and it runs(barely with help) like crap!,I know the computer should work in a Fox,any ideas?

The 4* should effect its running like crap. Give more detail Won't rev , not idling, backfiring, hard start.

pretty much all the above,I get it to fire up from under the hood with my remote switch, but I have to play with the throttle, once fired up,it runs rough, and don't want to rev up!

He was talking about your ignition base timing. Are you positive that it is set at 10 degrees?

Is it the firing order? The Thunderbird (1-4-5-2-6-3-7-8) is different to the Mustang (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8).
