Excellent oil filter study!
I don't know if this is a repost or not,but this study has some good info.If you're using Fram,you won't after you read this!

Same here,or Wix.From what I was reading though,the motorcraft filters vary by who retails them,for instance the Wal-Mart Motorcraft filters are supposedly a lower quality,than the ones at the auto parts store.I got one at wally world last night,and it looked the same to me,as far as the hole size goes.

Champion filters are made in USA...they are private labelled as "STP" filters (Autozone has 'em) and "Supertech" (found in Walmart).
Good filter. Low cost.

K&N it's why I use, when you have 80psi of oil going down the track, need a good holding pressure oil filter.

I change my fram filter every 9500mi whether it needs it or not.
