I plan on doing some pics through the process of my installation. This will be my first time installing a cage so I am sure I will be posting alot of what not to do's . I am very picky with my stuff so I hope I do a good job. Welding it will not be a problem being I have welded most of my life and done it for a living for most of my adult life. The only thing is all the angles and keeping it level while trying to tack it up. because if it does not look good I will ripe it out and be out some money. But I have always done my stuff myself so why stop now.

Remember to get your headliner the way you want it first! Installing that after the fact is a bad idea...

Show pics of the progress!

I got the plates tacked in for the main brace and the brace placed wher I want it. All I need to do is cut the main brace alittle, it is alittle to tight to the headliner for my taste. I don't think I could weld the brace that runs into the trunk with it at that heigth. Its to close to the headliner or it is right on it. But here are a few pics of the floor plates tacked in..

Make sure to weld at least 3/4 of the distance around the floor plates and do that before you weld any bars to those plates.

if you wait and weld them then the heat may cause whatever bars you have on them to twist.

a few pics of the main bar. I had to cut it down about 1/2 inch for proper fit. Then leveled it up and tacked it up.
