Question Easiest/best way to turn off F150 Check Engine Light?

My 98 F150 has a o2 light on. Is there an easy/cheap way to turn it off? I hate to replace one just for the other to go out.

The easiest way is to put a piece of electrical tape over it. That's what my grandfather used to do.

Is it a bad O2 sensor or have the converters been removed? If the converters have been removed, a set of the cheap ebay MIL eliminators should work.

just replace it with a bosch unit from autozone for about $50 or so.
you'll get better milage and have a greener truck that gets 12 mpg instead of 11.975 mpg with the bad one.
