front brake caliper options

what is the best replacement calipers for the front of my 2002 gt. wanting something aftermarket but still bolt to the stock location.

Your car isn't fast enough to need brakes. Sorry, someone had to say it....


A Cobra brake upgrade would probably be easy. Hang out on SVTPerformance and wait for someone who is upgrading to sell their stock stuff? Otherwise I'm sure Baer makes a nice kit for your car.

i really dont want to go bigger. i have 3 1/2 skinnies on front

Pretty sure you cannot do a caliper only mod on your car. Like Jeanyus mentioned, a 13" upgrade would be easy and worthwhile

You can still run skinnies on the front. You just have to use a spacer.

Have you seen rtusnake's car with the skinnies on it? He's running a big ass spacer so the skinnies clear the brakes.

yea i have seen it. i had to use 1/4" spacers with my weld drag lites and did not like the way they stuck out. my greg welds clear so the wheels tuck in under the car.

How about some slotted rotors and good pads,like EBC,or Hawk?
