hotlink avatar

why is that hotlinking an avatar pic does not auto resize. i know on the BM and Stangnet boards you could. Stangnet is also run by Vbullitin, right?

just wondering, its hard to find really cool stuff that will fit.

Save the pic, resize it, then upload it as your avatar.

if i knew how to resize it, i wouldnt have a problem. plus if hotlinking it can be done some other way it would be more convenient.

does anyone know how to make sequence pics. like the ones in my BM avatar. what actually makes them change?

How big is your Avatar. I am considering changing the size to 128x128.

You can do it with an animated gif. The picture is created with multiple frames and each frame is assigned a time delay which creates the motion.

Changing the size to 128 would be nice. 100 is a little small - kinda hard to see what avatars are sometimes.
