Cooling Fan Not Coming On

This is an emergency.

I told you guys about my car running hot yesterday, well I checked today and the fan was not coming on.

I checked the fuse and it was blown, a 50 AMP maxifuse. I tried a new fuse and it blows again.

It has one of the dual speed fans. I suspect it may be shorted out. I'm gonna apply 12V and see if the fan runs.

Any ideas?

Well, the fan's locked up. The fan blades will barely turn. It must have burnt up internally.

Unless someone has a fan for a 2001 Mustang/Cobra, looks like I wont be going to the dragon again.

I checked Autozone and they can't even order it. Advanced can get it for $155.

Anybody got any hookups? I'm pretty sure I won't get it in time for the dragon.

I'm making a total guess, but I am willing to bet the GT's have the same fan. You best bet will probably be the Ford dealer, it may be a little pricey but you'll having it the same day.

Maybe I can get it tomorrow or Thursday morning.

I'll check with our dealer and if we do have it, I may have to make a run to Trussville.
