ran a 13.068 with a merily stock gt stang



i dont know if you can read it but it says:

r/t .633

60' 1.732

1/8 8.307 mph 82.22

1/4 13.068 mph 102.76

but the only things that i have done so far is cold air intake exaust and 4:30 gears with bfg drag radials

Impressive...those 4.30's must be perfect for that car. Was it in 5th crossing the line?

nah, but close. i got curious about how far the limiter was past the 1/4 mark, and about 100' after the finish it hits the rev limiter.

im thinking that 4.10's would pick it up better on the top end, and allow a higher launch rpm w/o blowing the d/r's away. plus on down the road when its quicker ie: mid 12's and below, you woulndnt have to hit fifth, its a win/win situation imo. what you guys think???

I say this, if you have to put it on fith gear, which is a cruising gear, the set up is wrong! If you guys are going to stay with the 4:30 gears then need to tune the computer to raise the rev limiter or go to 4:10 gears. If not get a taller tire, a 28" slick.
