Hit up the track Sunday for the first time on the 100shot..
Detuned back to stock fuel trim and timing with the predator, I also have no bottle heater so I never had enough n2o pressure. Stayed around 850-900psi. Running on 275/60/15 ET Streets on 15x7 v6 wheels. diablo tune, not enough heat on the DRs, left OD engaged r/t: .508, 60': 2.115, 1/8th: 9.431@74.95mph, 1/4: 14.648@93.38mph factory tune, decent hook, 100shot @ 900psi r/t: .624, 60': 2.070, 1/8th: 8.579@85.79mph, 1/4: 13.142@106.08 DR's spun and hopped r/t: .681, 60': 2.159, 1/8th: 8.686@85.62mph, 1/4: 13.259@105.98 factory tune, OD locked out, but forgot to arm n2o after burnout (doh) r/t: .328, 60': 2.088, 1/8th: 9.274@75.47mph, 1/4: 14.375@96.76mph Let the car sit for a while, ECT cooled to 150*. Raced against friends in a camry, got hooked and ............................12.8! I got down to the time booth and the f@#king ticket printer was broken. I didnt know what I had run until my friends pulled up beside me and said 'Dude. You just ran a TWELVE EIGHT!'. Pulled back around to the staging lanes and asked another friend at the burnout box what I ran 'Like 12.8 at 106mph dude'. So sadly, my first (and only so far) 12 second pass I have no recorded proof of BUT, I did back up 2 13.0's: r/t: .402, 60': 2.038, 1/8th: 8.482@(blank?)mph, 1/4: 13.021@106.96mph r/t: .472, 60': 2.089, 1/8th: 8.528@(blank?)mph, 1/4: 13.078@106.40mph I have a good bit of room for improvement, right now the spray cuts out at 5500, and I'm crossing the traps screaming with all 3rd gear has just before the limiter.. I could spray a little longer and might see as low as 12.6.

Will it really make a big difference? I'm going to try to borrow my friends heater that automatically heats to 1050psi..or buy a used one off ebay.

Yes, but be careful, you can also have too much pressure. You want to use what ever pressure you used when you dyno tuned it -- that way you know the A/F is safe.
Quote:
I'm not sure if there are different quality levels of pressure sensors out there, but the one I used was not consistant at all. Some times it would shut off around 1000 and other times it would stop at 900. And even other times it would take the pressure all the way up to 1150! Right now, I just regulate it manually, but I will eventually try a thermostaticly regulated heater to see if they are more consistant.

I can pick up 2 tenths with 250 more pounds bottle pressure, But my secondary fuel system will not regulate below 5 1/2 pounds which with 900 pounds of bottle pressure my air fuel is in the high 10"s. Which with 1150 my air fuel is in the mid to high 11"s. Ive noticed most kits are set to run rich from the factory, but be careful because you dont want to go lean on nitrous.

Are you using the shifter that came with the TKO? I bought my 500 brand new and I have always had trouble with the 2-3 shift. I ordered a Tri-ax shifter for it to see if that would help, but I haven't gotten it yet (apparently they are backordered through Steeda)
