Yep, and some JB Weld on the combustion chamber will fix that head right up

Oh yea, dammit, I forgot about the whole over head cam thing. I was wondering what would cause them to get stuck like that

Do you know the guy or what all he did to the car? Man that car was a hack job!!! the driver side motor mount was missing 1 of the 3 bolts that went to the block and another bolt was half was in....put it this way, when I was underneeth the car taking the exhaust manifold off Brian could see the motor moving from the top. And atleast 5 of the injector connectors were cut/spliced and one of those was a different connector than the rest. I was just wondering about some of the history of the car because it apperars the motor has been out of the car before and it wasn't because of the paint job.

Paul the heads wouldnt work anyways. Your MarkVIII heads are not the tumble port heads that 99+ uses.

Thats a f***** up mess. What acctually caused it?

Well, we pulled the head because the #7 plug blew out and that is what we found. I'm really wondering if the cylinder was like that before the plug blew. It's kind of wierd because none of us have ever heard of a 4V blowing plugs.

Re: Would you rebuild this block...?

Wasn't there an issue with early 2V truck motors blowing plugs out?
