machine shop

I have finally got my rotating assembly and I am ready to have the block machined and have the bottom end assembled. Does anyone know of a good machine shop aroung boaz or gadsden? I have talked to a few places but can't seem to find anyone who wants to work on the 4.6. Windal Vinson in south side is the only one who has even showed any intrest in doing the work. Has anyone ever had any work done by him? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Huntsville Engine was on Horsepower TV when they did that 4.6 build.. Might want to check them out..

I wouldnt take anything to R&R unless you were ready to wait a year for machine work.

Yeah I talked to a guy from Huntsville and he seemed like he new exactly what he was talking about. I am dropping off my block when I get back from Destin. I will keep everyone updated.

R&R in huntsville are great guys, they just take a stupid long amount of time to do anything. They had my uncles chevy 572 block for over 8 months, we finally went and picked it up, dropped it off at Huntsville engine and they had everything done in a week.
