I think my motor mounts are shot!

Well Ive been driving the stang around this weekend, and Ive noticed more then ever alot of noise from my exhaust hitting things underneath the car, it rattles all the time at start up, and at idle never did this before . Im wondering if anyone has any experience with this situation, and is it common when the mounts go for the engine and exhaust to shift position and sit maybe lower . I think thats causing a clearance problem ?

Pete

P.S. The ones on my car are still the stock one's.
