96-98 cobra cam options.

Since Nathan has mentioned you can remove the valve covers on a 96-98 car with the motor in the car, I am wondering if changing cams would be possible as well without removing the motor.

In the event it is, if a set of Mach1 cams were found for a cheap price, would these be a viable upgrade to help boost the mid-low range power of our 96-98 air movers. How would it effect the IMRC's or more like how would the IMRC's effect the cam profile.
