fan control module
who on here can tell me where the heck its located ..fan works when hot wired...fusible link is fine ran power to the fan,and ran a ground to the sensor ,,the fan came on around 220* the fan controller is the last thing I can think of.....

Okay Brian, I've been looking around and there is supposed to be a fan relay close to the fuse box under the dash. Other things to check would be the temp sending unit on the lower intake located between injector's 2 & 3. I hope this helps...I just hate electrical stuff - so I would go get an aftermarket relay setup.

Aftermarket. I junked my stock stuff a while back. Even had problems on the 88 TC that I drove for a while.
New stuff works!!

I think Hayden makes one, and I've seen the Painless kits on Summit that were pretty reasonable.

hey don thanks for that pointer on where the fan relay was,,,,i pulled it and thats exactly the part I was trying to find.....openedit uop and it was melted inside ...probably from when I had that overcharging issue ...aaaaannnnnnddd...it seems that it controls the ac clutch which will solve my other issue and its only 23 bux woohoo...thanks bud...Brian

Glad to hear you got it fixed! Now, maybe I'll look and my wife's...I never even looked at the relay.

picked up the new relay this morning from work ....the part number is borg warner R4105 and it was only 16 bux canadian ...hell of alot better than the 153 dollars that ford wanted
