i have been reading and heard of guys running 4 cyl fox springs and fox struts on 99-04 mustangs. never found a good thread that ended with how it worked. just wondering if anyone on here has done this? the fox strut is shorter right?

I think the lengths are the same,(same with the springs)I'm almost 100% sure of it,considering the 99-04 is still the same basic Fox platform.I know the design of the struts as far as how they mount up is different though.

The fox strut is shorter and the opening where it mounts to the spindle is wider. If your doing it for drag just use the springs and buy some drag struts. Most people use the fox struts when their car is lowered

I don't think it would make to big of a difference. My car is lowered 2" in the front and still 60's pretty good

You just get more of a travel range on a lowered car with the fox strut on without bottoming out. You could probably get by with camber bolts just doing 1"
