will these wheels fit???
i want to buy a 5 lug conversion but it will still have the drums in the rear, its the one from 50resto.com...and i want to run 17x9 5 lug bullits....will they fit?
i've heard that you need disks in the back.....and if they dont fit will 17x8's fit? if anyone can help thanks....also does anyone know where i could buy the 5 lug disk brake conversion for cheap...besides buying used? |

Well, 17x9 Cobra R's fit, so I would assume that a 17x9 bullitt would fit. Depends on the offset though but they should fit regardless.
What do you mean about a 5-lug disc conversion. Are we talking rear disc?

Maybe it's because there aren't any 5 lug rear drums on the market, or they are a lot harder to come by than 5 lug discs which are OEM on several Fords.

There are quite a few 5 lug drum setups that come on Fords.
5.0 Resto is using the Ford Ranger "stuff" (2 right rear axles) in the rear for the 5 lug drum conversion for Foxbody cars.....

i heard lefts it seems like....but i may be wrong i've only heard it once or twice, i always am in the engine talk, not drivetrain...i guess you could call this drivetrain

Placeholder until I get home and dig up all my Five-Lug swap info.
17x9's require trimming in the rear unless you have the special offset R's if I recall correctly. 17x8 Bullitts rub at full lock in the front but clear perfectly in the rear.
