Main Girdle Help.
I am building a turbo kit for my car, I have a 1995 351w ford lightning motor stock bottom end. I have had a probe industries bottom end girdle sitting in the garage brand new in the box for about a year. If I were to install the girdle would I need to replace the main bearings if I don't get them mixed up or take them all the way off and just loosen the bolts and install the studs for the girdle? And If I do this does anyone know what oilpan and pickup tube I would need for this application.

I am wanting to make at least 600hp to the ground but 650rwhp would be even better I don't know what the stock block limits are but I may find out just wondered if I should go ahead and install the girdle or just wait for the stock bottom end to come apart and put it in the next motor. And the car is a 1995gt and will have a tubular k member as well. Would a 87-93 351w swap deep sump oil pan work?

the fox oil pan will work. i am also building a twin turbo sn95 with a lightning bottom end. the block should handle you expected hp or so i have been told by numerous people. i will find out before long. as far as the bearings go, they are not that expensive. i would just replace them and the rod bearings too. good luck with it.
