2v to 4v head swap on 2000gt

Wat would it take to convert my 2000 gt 2v into a 4v motor?

i kno i have to change intake and computer but wat else would have to be changed?

You would be a lot better off buying a 4V engine and selling your 2V engine than to try to piece everything together to convert your's to a 4V. You would need timing cover, chains, tensioners, valve covers, heads, intake, throttle body, etc... Everyone I've ever known of that has done the swap just swapped the whole motor.

99+ 4V for the returnless GT's. With a SCT chip, I believe that you can even use your ECU.

Yeah, but the B heads aren't very good heads. If you're going to go through the trouble of swapping, swap in the better motor. I vote for a '03/4 Mach 1 motor if you can find one.

Well I wouldn't say they aren't good heads. You can make good power with them N/A or boosted.

Yeah, I know. It just isn't the best starting platform IMO.

Wat is the power difference in the 96-98 and 99-04?
Ive read its 20hp stock but its was because 99-04 rear end
