how strong are 31 spline axles?

how much horse can they take if you are consistanly hooking up

example--
400rwhp
4:10's
upper/lower control arms
eibach drag launch kit
90/10 and 50/50 struts
slicks

just trying to get an idea for my upgrades down the line a little ways....

You're biggest killer is going to be your off-the-line torque. With a blower applications, you're rear end is probably never going to see it's peak on a launch anyway. You sould be more concerded in a nitrous or turbo car (if you're able to build boost at the tree). Even in those sitiations, 31-spline axles should be good for well over what you have.

QWKSNKE used to launch his 28-splines on the bottle (over 550 ftlbs) all the time and he still has the stock carrier and axles in his Cobra today.
