T4MO Idle woes

Hi Stangers,

The Tweecer is in and I have made big strides on the tune. The engine runs better than ever, no more knocking is the biggest improvement.

The problem is the idle. The car was doing this before the Tweecer install. What happens is the idle will be stable, right at target 800 RPM, ISC duty 25%, KAMRF 1.03, spark 20-25 degrees. It will stay like this for a few minutes, then, the fan comes on. Usually, the engine dies. Most of thetime, the idle control doesn't catch it. the engine rpm just drops to zero. Once in a while, it will catch it, cycle once or twice, and then die. I know the fan comes on as I see the voltage drop on the dash guage. Once the fan wants to run, the car will restart but adle is all FUBAR. It won't idle at all. Soon as the fan goes off, all is fine. The car has had two different fans in case you were thinking a short or something. The injetor offset vs voltage is stock. Im running 24# injcetors.

any ideas?

Eric
