Help! before i start tearing the motor down

96 GT, 4.6..

What it does- When cranking, it spits coolant out of the resivoir up front, right when it does start, it stumbles/misses untill you rev it up then it clears out, and is/was white smoke/steam out the exhaust that smelled like coolant. but stops in a few minutes..

A buddy of mine came over just a while ago and we were looking at the car, and while it was running he noticed one of the injectors was leaking, its not loose, just leaking, an O-ring i assume? Would that cause any problems on the 4.6 ( other than a possible fire)? i wouldnt think it would be related to overheating or anything but you never know right?

The fan does not work..i hot-wired it to the battery directly and it works, otherwise it does not work. this is could be the overheating problem as well? where is the fuse for the fan relay? and where is the relay?

Any help and input into this would be greatly appreciated as i really do not want to tear into this motor unless its 10000% necessary.

Do you guys think its a head gasket? intake related? please help ..Thanks guys

Alot of those cars had problems with cracking the intakes. It usually cracks where the thermostat mounts

it has the new one or whatever, with the metal piece up front.

I'm thinking maybe its got a bad gasket on the intake or something..other than that i guess its gonna be a head gasket..unless someone who knows a shit ton about 4.6's chimes in

it sounds like a.) crack or b.) a minor glich in the head gasket but both if it is the prob are really really strong and get sealed up when the engine warms up and swells to seal it.
