It has been a while since i last posted on here, but I am thinking of buying the 4.10s within a week or so. I have beens earching around and found a kit from American muscle that includes the 4.10 gears, 3 qts of RP gear oil and the SCT tuner. Is this kit worth buying or should I just get the gears and oil? Also, my '08 GT has around 3700 miles. Is there any need for me to get the install kit or the bearing kit with the low mileage on my car? Here is the kit that I am thinking of buying. Is it worth buying the tuner too? One last thing, is your schedule any less hectic these days to do a swap? How much would you charge me to do it? Let me know!! If all goes well, I may by these next weekend.

Well I went with 4.10s and love them. Drivability is great. Only down side I see is it don't loose much in rpm on 2 gear shift and only stays in 2 like for a split second and is back to shift rpm. I am thinkn 2nd is pretty low geared or there is an issue with convertor like blowing thru it. New convertor coming soon. I am doing a search on the quick shift and convertor now before I make final decision. Any input will be appreciated thx clyde. I will see if joe can post my tach video for reference

Are they FRPP gears or another brand? my personal preference is FRPP as ive never heard a bad story about them unless it was a bad install. Other gears, ive heard arent as high of quality as the ford parts. just throwing my opinion there

The gears I bought are FRPP ones. I wanted to stay away from the Motive made gears due to the whine that I heard and read a lot about. I should have these installed this weekend!!!

I hate to say it, but Motive makes most of the FRPP gear sets

Correct me if I am wrong, but the 4109A are not made by Motive, but the 4109M ones are. That has been my understanding from what I have read. Plus, the Ms are about $40 less expensive than the As.
