GT500 Limits not reached yet
Aparently, the GT500 Mustang has a long way to go before the stock engine can reach its limit.
The attached video shows a completely stock engine (with an added twin turbo on it) that is dynoing at 1019RWHP and 1016RWTQ !  They are claiming that this is the first factory ford stock engine to be able to run in the 8's. (Way to go SVT !) http://www.evoperform.com/GT500/tt8.wmv Now this car would be a thrill to drive !

I felt bad when it showed the GT500 running that little ricer at the track..it looked like the GT500 was already turning onto the return road when the ricer was at half track lol

That is definitely a sweet car. But they are so damn heavy.
Shoehorn that powerplant into an SN95 or New-Edge...  !!!

They have come a good ways with that car. They seem to be the leaders when it comes to the performance marks with the gt500.
