Talking Exile Machine Here... Who's linking to my site?

Howdy,

Long time Ford owner, not a 'stang owner, though if they made one for really tall dudes, I'd be all over it. Like the look though, maybe someday they'll make a Mustang XXL. Something the size of an Expedition would just about do it in my case.

Reason I'm here is I have a startup company and a website and I check the hits every morning to see who's hit my site and maybe posted something on their forum. I got 42 hits originating from this site, been through a bunch of the forums here and can't find who's linking to me. We make an "alternate" rifle grip for the AR-15, so I can't figure what it'd be doing linked from a Mustang site. Anyway, if you've seen a link to my site here, post up a link to the thread it's in. Could be a direct link to my site or it could be someone posted a photo here between those IMG tags. It'd either be a different looking rifle, a link to exile machine .com, or maybe a link directly to an image of our first product.

Thanks and sorry for the interruption. Now back to your regularly scheduled car talk...

No big deal about the link, not a big hit on the bandwidth. Was just curious what people were saying about the product if anything. I know there's another car site where they use the product image as an example of hard anodized aluminum...

I couldn't find it. Maybe it's a super-secret hidden forum. Can someone link me to the gun forum here?
Thanks...

The forum in question requires a minimum post count.

No offense intended, but I will say that the product was not well received. I can't speak for all of the AR owners here, but I prefer the traditional style stock.

Since it's my company's product up for discussion, I wonder if a mod can let me in provisionally despite my insufficient post count. Usually what we see in these forums where the subject of CA-legal rifles is brought up and a photo posted are:

1) people who haven't tried it badmouthing how uncomfortable it is (they haven't tried it so they don't really know and I can point them to people who have tried it, everyone who's shot it said it was very comfortable).

2) people saying how ugly it is (not realizing that it's CA's socialist gun-ban laws that restrict cosmetic features that are the true ugliness, and any attempt to get more AR-15 receivers into CA is a good thing and to be applauded, no matter how much we may dislike the appearance of certain products, they make the AR-15 more common and thus harder to completely ban in the future. Besides, every AR-15 built in CA causes another gun-grabbing legislator to wet their pants.)

3) a few CA-residents post pictures of their normal-looking AR-15 saying "see, look you can have a real rifle in CA, you don't need to replace the pistol grip" but they almost always forget to mention that their rifle can only hold 10 rounds and they have to poke it with a pointy tool to drop the mag; they can't use their finger. Some even build special poser mags that look like 30 rounders but really only hold 10 rounds.

4) CA-bashers who will shout MOVE! This may even degenerate into insults, not realizing that conservative gun owners in CA are hopelessly outnumbered by anti-gun liberals, and the only way to rectify the problem will come through the courts, and not realizing that through the calguns foundation, CA is leading the way toward striking these laws and helping prevent their spread to the other states.

I'll PM a mod to see if I can get in.
