Which Trans?
Well the turbo car aparently does not like the custom built clutch that is supposed to handle 700hp easy. The car drives fine until you hit the happy pedal and hit 1 or 2 psi. of boost then it blow's through the clutch like no tomorrow so I may decide to swap to a automatic and take the 3550 out. What setup would work best and last the longest with a trans brake, and stall?

PA C4. PI triple disc converter. As far as the stall I'd say 3800

Why not buy one of the aod trans with 4r70w guts. Still have the od and good gearing. A lil pricey but worth it IMO.

Yeah I've seen a few of those go to shit after a few passes. The c4 is proven.

You will really have to pay out the ass to get an AOD to handle what a C4 can

BLOWN95GT If you going with the C4, then put a set of 308 or 273 if you going to be driven it on the street. Now remember, torque is the enemy of the C4, I broke 3 at the launch, went with power glide, and yes my Mustang thing is fun to drive with the power glide. |

Edgar, I was waiting to see if you'd chime in on how your "Silverfox" trans was doing for you....Dan really seems to know his stuff when it comes to AOD's.
