if you plan on blower down the road the PI heads will end up not working

the performance benefit will be minimum at best.. 1998-2v 4.6's had redesigned ports from the production run of 96-97 heads..i think it netted, maybe a 20 hp difference.. the big change was from 99 with the PI heads and bullitt plenum on the Bullitt edition GT.

Patriot Performance in Rainbow City is another choice. I know a lot of mod motor guys that have gotten work there. Talk to Stephen. You really need to match your heads and cams, in any swap, but especially for the mod motors since one slight miscalculation, can lock it up.(true story bout another member here)

when i did the pi swap on my 97 i did heads/intake/headers and it felt like a new monster. never dyno'd it but the butt-o-meter said it was much faster. i would consider p/p pi heads if you can afford it.

True because a PI head on a NPI engine bumps the compression way up.

96-98 heads all the same the hp increase in 1998 was the result of a tune in the PCM.

You can run a blower on PI converted NPI motor. You just have to not get too wild.
