I'm looking for a new electric fan..

I have a new Profrom (15") electric "puller" right now. I need a "pusher". The pulleys are too wide (10 Rib charger & crank) & the belt will hit the fan I have. What do you think?

or

(I know I have to remove the A/C stuff to mount a pusher)

Thanks

I have a single Advance-Auto brand 16" fan. Hooked up with a relay & my fox 5.0 is cool as ice in this cool weather. You can hook it up either way too, so it could be a pusher... It's like $80 bucks.

Re: I'm looking for a new electric fan..

FWIW, the cfm ratings on most of the aftermarket fans are GREATLY inflated. Also, a pusher fan isn't nearly as efficient as a puller. I would suggest moving your rad/condensor forward, and then going with a MN-12 (TBird/cougar) electric. They are pretty thin, and have enough power to cool your combo.

Oh, the fan kits that DCC sells use that fan. I would actually suggest getting one of their fan/controller setups. WELL worth the money.

I could not agree more. I have the Taurus fan and the DCC, and it cools great. The way I used to have it cycled the fan on and off alot. Now it bareley turns on unless I am in the throttle a lot.

I have the same setup. Works great pulling air through my 3 core intercooler and 3 row radiatior.
