got a 1000$. want to run 12s
i settle for a 1000 on the 84. so all i want right now is to get into the high 12s. im almost there right now.
im thinking about building my rear end and putting slicks on it along with subframe connectors and lower controll arms

That would probably do it, or you could put some spray on it.

So does the '84 have a mod motor or is this in the wrong forum.
Sounds like you have a good plan. More traction > more power...though I haven't seemed to learn that lesson myself yet.

if the motor is going to eventually be taken out then get a few suspension parts, some slicks, and some kind of nitrous setup... should be able to get all for a grand.... If you are already running 13.0's then almost any option you take should push you in the high 12's

subframes, LCA's and slicks will easily push you into the 12's. Do you have a tune yet?

Slicks and suspension will get you into the 12s for sure.
Add axles and spray and you'll be in the 11's. Now that's impressive. |
