Actually, I have 295 Goodyears on my 18x10's now, too.

Damn I have 275/60's under my car with no scrubbing and no mini-tubs...I think it looks good.....

Since we're talking about it, I had a 265/50 under mine and now a 255/60. Both on a 15x8 with a 5.5" BS and I still have quad-shocks! They're flipped around though.

And since Joseph had to bring the Vette into it, I will mention that the Viper had 335/35-18's on it... and there was room for MORE.

I agree with the 295/45 being way too tall, but I'm thinking a 295/40 would still be tool tall IMO. I run 255/40-17's on a 9" rim and I think the sidewall height is perfect for a fox-body.

Also, keep in mind that wider tires also require either dumps, or some fancy exhaust fabrication around the axle.

I'm not sure about you, but I love my tailpipes... both for the sound and looks.

I run a 275/40-17 on a 17x9 with quad shocks. From my searching around a 315/35/17 will fit with minimal clearancing & flipped quads on a 17x10. Seems like there's a thread on the corral for cars running 315s and how they each did it.
