Got new numbers on motor....

Went to the track tonight at MMP, did not make my first pass until 8pm cause they were in doubt if they were going to have Test and Tune due to the cold, but people started to show up, so Right off the trailer since the Dyno, car ran on the left lane:

60ft 1.56
330 4.59
1/8 7.11
mph 97.15
1/4 11.20
mph 119.79

next pass had to abort, car sent me to the wall so had to lift, next pass, I never open the hood once:

60ft 1.58
330 4.619
1/8 7.14
mph 97.26
1/4 11.22
mph 119.77
This motor is putting down some serious power down, if I had mess with it a bit it'll probably run faster. I decided not to spray it for safety reason, track would not hold it, and probably hit the wall, 44* temperature. I'm trying to convince Anthony to open the track these last weeks, on Sundays for test and tune from 1-5pm. I'm happy, the motor is putting some good hp, can't wait to spray it...

Re: Got new numbers on motor....

Guys, you should hear this motor in the burn out, now that it has the ultr flows and the X pipe, it does a burn out effortlessly. The torque converter from PTC works great, and that is on the bit tight side, can you imaging with a 4200 stall converter! I was launching it at 3200rpm in the 2 step, it gets in the 2 step fast. Lee did you get your tranny fix? I'm going to talk to Anthony to see if he has T&T on the next Sunday left before the year is out. If does the first T&T will be the 4 of Dec, we should get a group to come down to MMP if it happens.

Yep, I had a PTC 4200 stall in my coupe. I loved it. It was also pretty tight for awhile but started loosening up after about 20 runs. Congrats Edgar!!

Re: Got new numbers on motor....

97mph on motor is looking good in the 1/8
What are you looking for on the gas in the 1/8???

My buddy's turbo 347 went 6.88 @ 108 the other night; 18 psi... Next pass, broke a piston. Gary went 6.70 @ 108...then yaked his Cometics

Re: Got new numbers on motor....

Car has been before 6.21. I'm trying for 6.10s or lower, as long as the car runs consistent 9.70s I'll be happy.
