gear size
Can someone compute my gearing for 1/4 mile I am currently 3.73. Ok I may forget something but here goes. Aprox 3200 lb car. 28 inch tall tire. Pa c4 tranny.with transbrake. 4500 stahl cam is solid roller. 285 dur .050. 721 lift. Alum heads that flow. A few cubic inchs. 460. And gobs of torque somewhere above 500 I know.intake is tfs single plane. carb is 1050 dominator and will be runn a little nos on ocassion Thx in advance. Would like calculated answers pls. I keep coming up with 3.27 but joecoupe is figuring 3.55 so need more input pls

i am just thinking of next year trying to get in on some bracket racing and some heads up races. And most all that is 1/8 mile. U want to run 1/4 mile get a 30 inch tire for 1/4 mile only.

you could just drop to 3.55 so that way you still have some umph for the 1/8th but have the speed for the 1/4
