need head info pls?
Does anyone know if the 96 f150 4x4 that still had the 5.8 was e7 head and if the 5.8 stayed speed density or ever went mass thx clyde

Yep,E7 heads. The automatic trucks were mass air,and the stick shift's were speed density up to '95. I want to say they were all mass air in '96 and '97 on the 250's/350's.

My 95 build date nov 94 is auto with speed density. I have found a 96 in ky. Was hopn it mass so I could convert mine.the 95 5.0 s I have seen are mass man ford just didn't know what they wanted in those couple years.

Yeah,I remember when we talked about that in Piedmont that day. Mine is also a Nov '94 build date,and it's 5 speed speed density. They changed a LOT of stuff on those in mid year '95. Front wheel seals is one of them,ours are like $10,where the later '95's have a 2 piece seal that's about $30.
